We recommend staying in the Short North, Victorian Village, Italian Village, Downtown/Convention Center, or German Village neighborhoods. There are a lot of hotels and Airbnb spots in these neighborhoods. We highly recommend the Airbnb-style rental option. For hotels, we recommend Hilton Downtown, Hampton Inn Downtown, Le Meridian, and Hotel LeVeque. For those that drive and aren’t interested in walking to nearby restaurants, Hyatt Place Columbus is close to the reception and has free parking.
If you get to town early, here are some of our recommendations for food: The North Market (lots of options, but Momo Ghar is a favorite), GoreMade Pizza, Bakersfield Tacos, Wolf’s Ridge Taproom, Northstar, Brassica, Tacos Rudos, Happy Greek, and Dirty Franks Hot Dog Palace. If you want to explore nearby neighborhoods outside of downtown, Dough Mama, Lavash, Village Taco (vegan), and Two Dollar Radio Headquarters (vegan & also a fun bookstore) are good. If you don’t see something you like, tell us what you’re looking for and we’ll make a suggestion!
